An original unique painting of a bee using watercolours, inks, gouache and fine pen line work on modern tram ephemera mounted between two sheets of glass.

This used Manchester Metrolink Tram Ticket Receipt, has a printed yellow patterned background and references the Metrolink with specific printed details of the journey and date (Feb 2025).

The bee is hand painted in watercolours and gouache over a pen and pencil sketch. The painting is framed between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 60% lead 40% tin solder. Copper rings have been added and British made copper ribbon included for hanging.

This painting would make a lovely gift and is perfect for a collector.
