The unique card British Railways wagon label (from the 1950s) has a reference to Potatoes from Boston, Lincolnshire and Derby Station. With an ink wash background, the hare is hand painted in watercolours and gouache over a pen and pencil sketch. The painting is framed between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 60% lead 40% tin solder. Copper rings have been added and British made copper ribbon included for hanging.

This painting would make a lovely gift and is perfect for a collector.
