Two Bumblebees - Manchester Metrolink Tram Ticket Receipt
Two original unique paintings of bumblebees using watercolours, inks, gouache and fine pen line work on modern tram ephemera mounted between two sheets of glass.
Two used Manchester Metrolink Tram Tickets and Receipts, have printed yellow patterned backgrounds and references to the Metrolink with specific printed details of the journey and date (Feb 2025).
The bumblebees are hand painted in watercolours and gouache over pen and pencil sketches. The paintings are framed together between 2 pieces of cut glass and finished with copper foil and 60% lead 40% tin solder. Copper rings have been added and British made copper ribbon included for hanging.
These paintings would make a lovely gift and are perfect for a collector.
